I would be honored to be chosen for this wonderful Contest. My hard work and dedication will be shown. My mazda 3 in a big part of my life. It helps me to relax and deal with the world around me. It has become part of me in so many ways. Without my Mazda I would be lost, it brings joy into my life and has helped hold my marrige together. Having this car allows me to express myself is so many ways. My main goal for this project it to show the world a dedication like no other. When I show my car I am really giving back to the community. Putting smiles on faces, making people escape from their every day lives and sharing an expereince that lasts forever. Attending car shows for Charity and good causes are what I look for, everyone is a winner.
I also just recently was laid off from my job, I plan to use this money to pay bills, help my family and invest some in my car.
I also want to help out another member here "Michael C. Buttafuoco" - his story is truly inspirational, I would help him with the money needed to finish his project.
Royal purple is an amazing product. I actually have a case sitting in my garage. It provides my engine with the lubrication it needs to perform under any condition.
My name is Troy I am 33 and showing cars is my passion. This is my 2004 Mazda 3 Showcar and daily driver. All work was done by myself. I have spent 100's of hours and many endless nights making my car what it is today. It may not be everyones taste but it is what I like. I take great pride in my car and pay close attention to details. I currently have just over 40k miles on my Mazda and it is garage kept. I attend car shows only if they benefit a good cause or a Charity. So far out of 42 shows I have won 1st place or best in class at every show. I have also won speciality awards and Best of show. See picture for my Trophy collection. Last year alone I attended 15 shows ,2009 will be even better. I have a few Major sponsorship, updates coming soon.
I believe the best compliments are when people come up to me, introduce themselves, shake my hand and tell me I have a very nice looking Mazda. This puts a smile on my face and overall is just a good feeling. This is why car shows are so important to me, meeting new and interesting people who have a passion for cars old and new. They understand all the hard work and dedication and take honor and pride to a whole new level. Are you one of these people ??

Hello,
love powerblock, Been to speed week on a return trip from Deserete Utah a few years ago. Only came by chance. I stayed for a couple of hours and loved it. Ever see a semi go 303 mph? Awsome!!!!!!! Ill return sometime in the future.
WOW! I would need a restroom break after that. That was fast!I even began holding onto my seat armrests! That was COOL! Did it require some distance to stop?
Hey just wanted to drop in, give a little response to your message, cant wait for the warm weather to roll in here, its hard to prevent rust when all the roads are covered in salt, but hey sick car, keep it clean man!
how you doing troy.....nice ride my friend, nothing like going to car shows and talking to people who love cars the way i do...good luck with royal purple...HIN and DUB la is in march getting the superbee ready for the show and the dyno run...we are installing the lights inside the headlights almost like the audi a8 looks sick... ill post photos when done..
Yes the stands are made from 6 Stern 3 piece racing rims. I took them appart and made then. I used the outter lip as the base and bolted the centers back on, after I painted them. It took longer to clean all the chrome bolts than anything else.
Catch ya later!
well said troy,I m love showing my car and doing custom suttle mods to it,people look at it like it and they arn't sure why.
I'm not out of work yet but I think everyone is going to take a turn.I'm just starting a job that will last for the next few months after that I'm not sure.I'm in the middle of repaint and a couple more mods(fill the cowl and wiper holes)who needs wipers in the northwest? I use rainex and my gas peddle to shed the rain. And I'mputting in a gear vendor.I'm going to feel stupid if I spend the $ and then loose my job.I've been with the company for 18 years and in the trade for 30.I think the economy will bounce back but it willl take some time.
Your car looks pretty awesome,I admire all cars built buy there owners,Ford,Mopar,VW,Jeep,Toyota ,Mazda it doesn't matter as long as the owner put his heart and soul in it .And obviously you have.Have fun at the shows
