Progress!

This past weekend we tore down the front end and found a little more rust than anticipated. This should not set us back to bad. I have posted few pics of the new parts and front views as the car is today. It's really nice to see progress in the car, as most of you have experienced in your own projects! The new parts include a TCI streetfighter 350 transmission w/ holeshot 3000 stall torque converter, front disc brake kit, ceramic coated headers, american thunder flowmaster exhaust system, sub-fr… Continue

Crate engine

Hello all!

Just an update on the car...I have found a good mechanic to help me in rebuilding the front end and upgrading to disc brakes. Also I have finally decided to purchase a crate engine, sure I might miss a mortgage payment or two but it's going to be sweeetttttt. I got a 435hp edelbrock 350 on order, I can not wait to see it. Also I talked my way into getting a free water pump out of the deal! That's all for now, hope everyone had a good day.

I'm shooting for an overseas assignment... so C-17s to Hickam (yeah, it's considered overseas) or KC-135s to Mildenhall, England. I'll find out on the 29th of this month.
